The integration of Craniosacral Work and deep listening into Bodywork
With Almuth Kramer
Sunday, 29th of March, 10-13 h and 14.30-17.30 h
Craniosacral work is a gentle, non-invasive, hands-on approach that originates from Osteopathy. The craniosacral rhythm is the immanent manifestation of health and vitality in the human body and plays an incredibly important role in the bodys capacity to adapt, to heal, to restore – basically: to be and stay healthy. The amplitude and frequency of this rhythm is not visible only perceptible.
In this full day workshop we´ll dive into the craniosacral rhythm in theory – looking at the basic anatomy of the structures involved in the core-link (= the bones at the base of the skull and it´s connection to the sacrum) – and in practice.
Neither the amplitude nor the frequency of this rhythm is visible yet they are perceptible. By exploring basic craniosacral principles and taking time to truly listen with our whole being, we will facilitate deep relaxation, calm down the nervous system and support the inner wisdom of the body to balance, recharge and heal itself.
The communication with these subtle rhythms is a beautiful way of regionally and/or globally integrating any changes or transformations created by the massage/bodywork into the nervous system.
